The new Honda CRF450L is out (you can buy one now) and the initial reviews have been published. The consensus of the motorcycle press is that despite weighing 30 lbs or so more than the competition the CRF450L is a terrific dual sport bike that should be on any short-list for those in the market.  That being said, note that first rides don’t tell us everything and there is no aftermarket yet for this bike. Still, if the in-depth reviews confirm the first ride reports, then Honda will likely sell a lot of CRF450Ls.
