Hill Country Ride – Saturday, Jan 16, 2016
As you know, we’ve been enjoying lots of rain in Texas for the past few months. Mostly on weekends. And now that it’s winter, it’s cold too. Mostly on weekends.
However, I’ve been checking the weather forecast daily and it keeps telling me that it will be partly sunny and in the 60s on Saturday. That sounds good to me so I’m leading a ride into the hill country.
I have planned a 150 mile loop through the hill country consisting of both street and dirt. All riders are invited to attend.
Meet Saturday morning, 10:30 a.m., at the convenience store near the intersection of Hwy 281 and RR 962 (10965 US-281, Round Mountain, TX 78663). Stands up at 10:45 a.m.
We will loop west through the hill country, stopping in Castell for lunch.
Email me at rgibbens@austin.rr.com and I will send you the route for your gps.
Come ride with me and you too can give the Peace sign to random photographers on the side of the road. 😉
Thanks Richard. See you in Round Mountain!
