Expedition Big Bend 2.0 – water

Texas Adventure Posted on April 27, 2018 by RichardApril 7, 2018

The most surprising thing I saw during this entire trip was this big reservoir. I was riding along, through the desert, minding my own business, when I rounded a corner and saw this. Expedition Big Bend 2.0 – gasoline

Texas Adventure Posted on April 16, 2018 by RichardApril 7, 2018

The biggest challenge with this route is gasoline. Specifically, the lack of gasoline. There are no Pemex gas stations in the approximately 350 miles between Acuna and Manuel Benavides, beyond the fuel capacity of most motorcycles. Which means you either … Continue reading →

Always Chivalrous

Texas Adventure Posted on April 7, 2018 by RichardJanuary 9, 2019

This sign, located at the western end of the 150 mile dirt road we had been riding for the past few hours, says something to the effect of “born, live, and die, always being chivalrous”. Interesting, isn’t it?
