Lunch
In 2010 Milton dragged me over some Mexico mountains from the town of General Zaragoza to the community of Santa Engracia. It took more than 6 hours to ride across and the road was rocky and rough the entire way. Of course, there weren’t any restaurants along our route (heck, there weren’t any towns, gas stations, or stores along the route either – it is very remote) so lunch consisted of beef jerky, trail mix, and water. Which is pretty typical for us when riding the remote mountains of Mexico. We sat in the pine needles and enjoyed the warm weather and wonderful views.
